About 

Furrl is a funded early stage startup building the next generation of lifestyle e-commerce through a clutter-breaking discovery platform for new-age brands. We are attacking the 100 billion dollar D2C market in India by creating a one stop shop for consumers to discover, validate and purchase these lakhs of independent brands and creators in India, in a way that is personalised and effective at scale.

At the helm of Furrl is our Founder, a highly accomplished professional with an educational background from prestigious institutions such as IIT Kanpur and Harvard Business School. With a wealth of experience in building successful businesses from scratch, both within startups and large corporations like Myntra and ITC, our Founder has a proven track record of driving innovation and growth. Most recently, she was Partner at Entrepreneur First, an early stage VC that she launched in India, where she mentored over 300 entrepreneurs and built a portfolio of 42 startups in the country.

Responsibilities

You will expand and enhance the brand’s presence online and on-app experience with a strong content-first approach.

Social Media Marketing

  • Strategize and execute the content plan for our social media handle. This includes building weekly content strategies, creating and/or sourcing content for those. owning all social media engagement, working with brands for content etc. 
  • Create in house content to drive brand and engagement. 
  • Be the face of Furrl on social media – responding to comments and DMs, interacting with other handles and building brand awareness.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics & Facebook Insights to track and measure the success of marketing campaigns. Provide regular reports and insights to the management.

Influencer Marketing

  • Collaborate and reach out to influencers to create content that aligns with Furrl’s brand and target audience. 
  • Track and measure the impact of influencer marketing efforts


Content Marketing

  • Create content and write engaging and insightful copies for all app consumer engagement channels such as push notifications, WhatsApp, SMS, etc. 
  • Create content for marketing newsletters and build strategic content partnerships.
  • Own customer communication templates and customer delight strategies on and off app. This includes innovative content interventions to increase engagement on-app.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure  that all content is consistent with our brand voice and messaging. 

Market Research

  • Conduct research to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies in the D2C and ecommerce space. 
  • Analyse data and create actionable insights on marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • Past experience of handling Social handle & Community.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated content writing experience.
  • Must be a regular social media user, familiar with commonly used content formats. 
  • Should be proficient in image and video editing such as creating and editing posts, reels etc. using tools like Canva.
  • Should have a keen eye and interest in new-age fashion.
